Thoughtfully designed curriculum that meets students where they are and helps them build confidence as young musicians.
Our specialty! A fun, hands-on introduction to music that helps kids discover what they love. We explore percussion instruments, piano, violin, recorder, singing, music history, and music theory. Especially great for younger children.
One-on-one piano lessons focused on technique, reading, rhythm, and musical expression, helping students build strong musical foundations, confidence, and performance skills.
For upper elementary students and up. Bassoon lessons focused on tone, fingerings, reeds, and orchestra or band preparation and auditions.

Magical Melodies Miami was founded by Ms. Young, a passionate music educator and performer with a deep love for teaching children and building joyful musical communities. With a Bachelor of Music in Bassoon Performance from McGill University, Ms. Young brings a strong classical foundation and professional musicianship into every lesson.
Ms. Young has worked as a public school music teacher in both Florida and New York City, where she spent years learning from incredible musicians, educators, and arts institutions. Growing up in NYC shaped Ms. Young’s teaching philosophy and inspired her to bring high-quality, thoughtful music education to children and families in Miami.
A highly skilled bassoonist and pianist, Ms. Young has extensive experience in orchestral music and performance. Conducting concerts is one of her greatest joys, especially holiday concerts, where music, excitement, and community come together in the most magical way. Her love for orchestra runs deep, and she is passionate about sharing that knowledge with young musicians.
Beyond music, Ms. Young has spent years working closely with children in a variety of settings. Her experience includes serving as a swimming instructor at Asphalt Green in New York City and working as a Waterfront Director at Interlochen Arts Camp. These roles strengthened her ability to lead, nurture confidence, ensure safety, and create meaningful connections with kids of all ages.
At the heart of Magical Melodies Miami is Ms. Young’s belief that music should feel exciting, welcoming, and empowering. Every child is encouraged to explore, grow, and feel proud of what they create, whether they are touching an instrument for the first time or performing on stage.
